Imagine trying to find room on your business card for “www.facebook.com/pages/Tebo-Design-Studio/258400069242”. It’s a lot easier to fit “www.facebook.com/TeboDesignStudio”. However, you are only allowed a unique address after you have obtained at least 25 “Likes” for your page.
